ESA opts for Foodware 365 for Finance & Operations

ESA is one of the largest veal processors in the Netherlands and sells a wide range of veal products. ESA is part of the VanDrie Group, the world market leader in veal and despite its size still a real family business. The companies within VanDrie Group form a completely closed production chain within the veal sector, enabling ESA to offer unique guarantees for its veal. To ensure further growth, ESA officially chose the software platform Foodware 365 for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations in combination with Optimity.

The benefits of Foodware 365 and the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Power Platform

All ESA business processes will be automated with the choice of the new platform. From financial to production and logistics. In addition, the MES layer is also integrated with Foodware 365 for Finance & Operations. This means that there is no need for manual data transfer at all.  All reports are therefore up to date at all times - as Foodware 365 is always fed with the current data. Foodware 365 for Finance & Operations runs on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform, which means you make use of the One Version principle – no big software upgrades with a lot of impact, but small updates that are going to be carried out with little to no effort.

A partnership between ESA and Schouw Informatisering

After an extensive selection process, ESA has chosen the Foodware 365 platform. For several reasons; Schouw Informatisering and its employees have clearly shown that the 100% food focus gives them solid industry knowledge and gives them the tools for a real partnership. In addition, the underlying Microsoft platform makes sure that ESA not only meets today's demand, but can also meet future developments, such as artificial intelligence. It is also a platform where not all functionality is built into the ERP environment, which can result in confusing and expensive implementations. On the contrary. Finally, ESA can also have the Optimity solution, which provides for the optimization of supply and demand, taking into account, among other things, production, logistics, customer prioritisation and quality of products. "Schouw Informatisering is not just an IT supplier, but really develops a relationship with the customer. This really appealed to us," says Korstiaan Mulderij, managing director of ESA.

"For Schouw Informatisering, ESA is a new customer to be proud of. We look forward to a fruitful collaboration so that ESA can take advantage of all the benefits that Foodware 365 for Finance & Operations has to offer, says Jurgen Heinis, Business Lead at Schouw Informatisering.
